“his luster” (referring to the Savior)
-it is
curious that many have described their experience with the Savior in this same manner
(i.e. same type of description). More
interesting is that the description identifies the accompanying light as
belonging to, not separate or distinct from (i.e. behind or from without), the
personage. Jesus Christ’s countenance is
so full of truth and intelligence that he physically shines. His body is not only filled with light
(D&C 88:67), but He is the light
of the world, the source from which all else is illuminated.
